SMOKE FROM DISTANT FOREST FIRES HAD MOVED ACROSS NORTHEAST AND NORTH
CENTRAL COLORADO THIS MORNING...WITH HAZY SKIES OVER THE AREA. THERE
MAY BE SOME IMPROVEMENT IN THE VISIBILITY BY THE EVENING.
OTHERWISE...A DRY AND STABLE AIRMASS WILL BE OVER THE AREA.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE LATE
AFTERNOON AND EVENINGS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...WITH THE MAJORITY OF
STORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND PALMER DIVIDE REGIONS. INCREASING
MOISTURE ON SUNDAY WILL LEAD TO BETTER CHANCE FOR STORMS OVER THE
MOUNTAINS ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
